Yeah, it's a beauty. They have sharpened the lines a bit and the result is tunning. 8L engine, over 500BHP.

If ya wanna post pics ya can upload them onto a free pic-server, but it would be best if it allowed direct linking. Then just put the url's of the photos in between this:

Like the previous model more, went to Brussels auto salon this year and saw it from upclose, didn't liked it to much.

I think it is great. It is in my top 10 "best looking cars." Might be in third... I did like the concept more though.

Yea it's pretty bad ass, but I'd take a 911
or RC45's vette

Id rather have the Ford cobra if it comes out. I think that will be pretty bad ass, i hope ford prices it right with the viper.

I don't believe that there is no replacement for displacement. In fact, 8.3 liters making 500hp is a little bit sad. Pushrods? There are some pix out there of engine's being lifted out of semi's and dropped into vipers. Too big. But, the car is very fast and has tenacious grip.

You gotta be careful while stepping out of a viper you don't burn your ankles on that exhaust; I heard it can get tricky.

I heard Viper drivers are so tough, when they do burn their legs, they just piss on it to cool it off...

im not a fan of convertible anythings, even the viper. i think that the new viper is an improvement over the last one, especcialy the engine and driveability, but overall i would still rather have a first or second gen viper over the SRT10. compared to a new viper, the older ones look a lot sexier and shapely.

love the new viper... but liking the looks of the old one better.
on a test with the srt-10 on a track surface, stopping distance from 60mph was "record setting" in a direct comparison to prototype ford GT, which had astounding stopping power as well. the viper set up an amazing 97ft. from 60-0, wilst the gt was @ 111ft.
if i had the 85 g's or so for a viper, id wait for the GTS model to come out before to long, since im not a fan of the convertable (any that i like, i like the hardtop better)

worst styling ques of the new viper IMO are the front grill, and rear tail lights

when i see pictures of this car, im impressed but when i saw it in real life i was taken aback. it was a lot bigger than i expected. i have seen several older vipers up close, but this was a larger surprise. good 'ol american excess!! im turned off by the soft top, do i guess i'll wait with nthfinity for the coupe to come out..

I like the body style of the new viper all too much. Although my respect for dodge is at a minimum mostly because i own a 1997 ram which ive went through 4 trannys on <its an automatic>. I still respect the dodge Viper bc i believe dodge can do wonders if they put the time into it. My favorite thing about it is the exaughst which is flushing into the skirt and dumps before the rear wheels.
Ive always wanted to make a custom exhaust that did this, now i dont have to :)

i think the old shape is way way better. the new one, although quite nice, looks like someone injected some adrenaline into a honda s2000.

i'm also pretty bleak that vipers don't come in the good ol' shelby blue with white racing stripes :(

Well when i first seen the new viper i almost shit myself on how low down to the ground it is. and when i hopped inside it was like my ass was riding on pavement lol but anyway i seen one driving around today and i thought it was pretty nice and it had its top down  turn everyones head whereever that car drove 8) i was pretty much drooling

I like it even if the first was wilder. The new one is gorgeous, mainly in black.

the srt-10 vipers look tiny on the internet, but if you see one on the road you'd swear their wider than a hummer  :D

Looks great but I'm not a big fan of convertibles. Can't wait to see how the GTS will look like. The original Viper is why I became interested in cars. I used to read my dad's Motor Trend magazines whenever I saw a Viper on the cover. I didn't understand a word that the reviewers/editors were saying but I still enjoyed reading them.

I love the Viper. For some reason, I didn't like the rear ends of Vipers before this model. I love the rear lights, but I think it would look better in a coupe form than convertible.

The 8.3L may only make 500, but with some mods it'll go well over 1000hp.
