Hi guys and thanks for the comments. Indeed the fiesta had a slipping brand new 6 paddle Alcon clutch and as a result only ran half boost.
As Jimrose rightly said the right hand side lane at TOTB2 was for 1/4 mile only and the left hand lane continues to do the 1.25 miles top speed hence why the video stopped after the 1/4 mile. If you look at the last frame in the video you can see the Fiesta ahead of the Viper past the timing laser + it was also confirmed from the timing gear at the event.

Waiting for new custom racing clutch to be made up to cope with the torque and then 2.1 or even 2.4bar of boost here we come. I can't wait to break those records again.

Trust me when I say the Fiesta won. The Viper continued on to do a top speed run, while Sunny stopped. Sunny has absolutely no reason to lie about this, his car has broken so many offically timed records it is just not funny. As I said, I am trying to get the times from the day, but he is a busy man. Currently, his top speed in the Fiesta is 178mph. Typically that is not good enough, and the car is getting worked right now.

Right, got in contact with Sunny, this was his answer:

"When racing the Viper I was only running 1.2bar of boost (max boost was mapped to 2.3bar) due to slipping clutch however still done a 13.1 @ 124mph 1/4 mile."

..........trying to dig up the Vipers time.....
