I love old M3.
The only bad thing about them is that if you want one in good shape be prepared to pay more than for e36 M3.

:D

E30 M3 rules!!! "Sadly" many people agree with this, so they are a little too expensive for a student like me....

little to expensive........?!!!! :)

I always hate it when they rape such a stunning car with crap wheels, fillercap, steeringwheel and girly color.

the sparco steering wheel is a bit tacky, but otherwise an outstanding example on how car modding is a good thing if done with some reservation.

Odd Color but cool car. One of the Top Gear shows had Richard Hammond wringing the E30 on the open roads of Isle of Man (I think).. he was ecstatic about the cars abilities

Never heard of teh topgear episode of which you speak of, but I am damn insterested...

If anyone could get a rip of that E30 feature on Top Gear I would be more than happy to host..

Me too, but this one isn't overdone, so I can dig it. However I would choos a different colour, I will allow this for once. :)

The E30 M3 is about a 150+ mph car. It has a 2.3 liter 4-cyl. With a red line of 7500 Rpm. They make 195-238 hp depending on which model you choose the US spec were down on power then you have 3 diffrent evos which are hard to come by. When the E30 M3 raced against the Merc 190E in DTM its 330hp n/a engine typically dominated the class with 123 finishs at many of the big events such as 24 hrs of Nurinburgring etc. Lots of info can be found at S14.net and E30m3therealm3.com. Haha great cars I have a E30 325iX and love it to death I will soon be buying an E30 M3.

Thanks. Do you know how quick it is? I think that the US spec only made 192hp from the 2.3L. The torque is pretty damn impressive, is it NA or turbo?

Top speed is not quite that impressive... My Eclipse GT does 140+mpg w/o a sweat, gear limited.

I think that it look really nice and is built well. The color makes it look like a taxi, but it's alright. The gas cap as got to go though-

/me bows to it. Very clean for it's age and it doesnt even seem like it gets driven. Good stuff!
