The forum is "What Do You Drive Or Ride? not necessarily Pictures of "What Do You Drive Or Ride? Although pics are alway nice to see. I never took any pics of the my cars, but I still like to talk about them.

Sadly we have already ppl pretending to own cars they don't, so always better to post a couple of pics (and it seems also normal IMO, if you open a topic about your car :))

I am the owner of a 2002 325i. I would like to bring to your attention something that I noticed while reading your post.
1. In 2002 BMW did not make the 328i. They only made the 325i & 330i.
2. According to the pictures that you posted along with your post, your car is either a 2000 or 2001. I noticed this from the front apron of the car.
I am not telling you this in order to call you out about it. I am merely letting you know that you might want to do some research on your car. From the research that I did BMW did not produce a 328i in 2002 in Saudi Arabia. I would recommend a carfax report. They only require a VIN number and can tell you endless amounts of info about your car. I wish the best for you!

Yeah, maybe it wasn't in the US. But in the US, the last year for the 328 was 2000. So I don't know. The front apron/bumper could be changed. . . it is definitely a MY99 to MY02 though because the headlamps are before the facelift. (On second look that looks like the right bumper.)

Nice car by the way. . .

hahaha..i don't think people would lie to owning a regular sedan beemer. Even if wasn't theirs, it wouldn't be outrageously inappropriate to suggest that it belongs to a family member. lol. But pics would always be welcome......

just imagine if we start asking ppl who own Nissan Sunny for pics of their cars.......

LOL IMO every car from a Japanese Kei car to a big italian V12 are interesting :D

Sometimes sure we ask pics because we have some doubts, but most of the time is just to see other member's cars :D because we love cars :D

Every now and then I dream about a big JW meeting with a nice group pic with all our cars together :D

i would like to know what's the difference between the 325,328 and the 330. I don't see 328s much. Even in the internet i can't find info. about it, i only see the 316ti, 318, 320, 325 and the 330. Can anyone tell me the difference between them in engine specs. and other stuff please

that's because the 328 was phased out in favour of the the slightly larger and better engine the 330, which is effectively 3 litres as opposed to 2.8 for the 328.

The 3 in front signifies the series number, the two subsequent numbers ie 318 or 325 signifies the cubic capacity of the engine. 325 means 3 series with a 2.5 litre engine, however when it comes to the 318, it gets a little confusing. It's actally 2.0 litres instead of 1.8, due to some clever engine management, improved valvetronic system, and slightly bigger bores and strokes.

If you want specific numbers i'm sure someone here will help you out, but i think this explanation will suffice for an abridged version.

We also had the 323, 325, and 328 during the E36 era.

I remember they took out the 325 because they thought it was too close to the 328 so they named it 323 even though it was a 2.5L engine. I forgot the exact years that happened, I think it was 97 through 99.

Now of course after the 330 came out, the renamed the 323 back to the 325 which originally was the 325 with a 2.5L engine.
