7.5L per 700km is equal to 220mpg... if my math is right. i could do over 3500 miles on a tank of gas. sign me up!

yeah those toyota tires are a bit weird...imo.. Nice pics though, love the car in silver...
So, the toyota emblem has another function, not just to show the brand name also to add grip to the tires...lol

Wow this is way better than that crappy van they advertised for
0-60mph in 8 seconds that is a horrible time

And who races a van

I don't really like it... I mean it looks like a very nice supercar but it's not. kool that it has 2 electric motors and 0-60 is ugly fast, nice tires and shit, but it cool never be compared with a ferrari. I like to know the price though... and if it has a good handling

Whats the catch?

There must be a huge one - or the Corolla and Camry would already be so equipped, getting 220mpg and selling like hotcakes.

I am sure the catch is price - with a Corolla costing $14,000 and the hybrid $100,000 - it needs to be a "supercar" to justify the cost.

*shrug*

p.s. If these hybrids do take off really well and sell - the Middle East will be really pissed - no-one will need to buy their oil in bulk any more.. ;)

I am guessing Jihad for oil? LOL

At first this car didn't really convince me. The front of it was largely to blame for that. The rear reminds me of the Italdesign Scighera, which is amazing. By now, I really like the car as a whole. Italdesign is so good... Too bad it will never see production.
