I found a site from someone on this board that sent a link to find newer video codecs. For some odd reason something strange happened to my computer and now half of my videos make windows media player freeze. These are all videos that i have already watched and some new ones. I have no clue what happened. Any ideas, or links to a video codec site? I already have the updated codecs from windows, but dont seem to help.

You can find all the codecs here. AVIcodec will tell you what codecs the AVI uses.

Thanks, ill try that. I tried a new divix codec that didnt work. Here is what the error message said. Unable to play the video format. Video data: FOURCC code "YVU9". Might need a different codec to play video.
