I take the Schnitzer over the CSL, because it actually has a radio and stuff like that. It would be cool to tell people you have a Schnitzer (cool word).

All though there doesn't seem to be a lot of difference with the standard version

I'm kinda of dissapointed, even more when the CSL has a plastic trunk and

the bootfloor consists out of carton, butt I don't know why I still would even opt for

the CSL when you have to pay £18k more than the standard version.

Damn iI'm kinda of confused, maybe It's for the name(CSL).Sounds impressive,no?

For example: -Hi, I have an M3
ooohh, that's nice, I just bought an M3 CSL
-Oh, ok, well I have to go now

Hmm...not a big fan of SMG 'boxes, I'd go with a standard M3 with a 6 speed. 8)

Cool article, of those I'd go for the Schnitzer.

I think that the CSL i the most serious car of them but the "ordinary" M3 is propably better for everyday use.

Well you are not going to tell me, I you had the CSL you won't use It ever
day. Why bother buying a durable, beautifel, fast machine If you won't use It everyday :? :? :?

Thanks for reposting. I really appreciate it. Interestingly, I think Porsche used the same approach with the number of GT3 RS they manufactured but I haven’t heard of them experiencing the same issues. The CSL is one mighty fine track car  . No doubt about it.

Does anyone else have any E46 M3 or CSL articles. I must have deleted my file on accident  and would really appreciate any help finding articles on these two cars. E36 M3’s would be nice too. Thanks  .

my choice would be the csl. closest to track car out of the three.
