C55 AMG

yes i just saw it today on AMGs website. not sure how long it has been on the sit5 but apparently they are coming out with a C class with the same 5.5 liter V8. i assume it would replace the C32. HP#s are at 367 not sure about the TQ but i figure it will be around 380 or so, about what the other N/A 5.5 liter AMGs make. thought you guys might find it interesting. if you havent already seen it.

that car looks nice. Good job to mercedes on this one. Im thinking they are making the wagon to go against the s4 wagon? just a thought

i presume there'll be a notable price hike to go with the change of engine?
that front nose looks alot 'droopier' than the C32.. i think i like it.
i prefer the new guage configuration too, and i notice the redline has been shifted 500rpm higher. 8)

okay so there is a face lift on the c class? any one knows about engine upgrades (like is the 350 from the ML350 going in) and the interior mods are so hot.
and whats the HP rating same as the CLK55?

just what i was thinking, it's good to see they made it stick shift, i thought merc's seemed to be phasing out manual's with most of (to my knowlage) been auto tranmisions, and auto's in the mclaryn, and in the SLK's

it'd look kinda silly having the 6.5 in the C, and the 5.5 in the E, woundn't it? overkill! :wink:

Maybe the C55 has the engine which has 350 horse power.

I think that it doesn't need to C-class.

C32 AMG is enough. I don't want more powerful C-class.
