Oh dear...Fast and Furious on ABC

Oh no...I you live in US, esp Pacific time, Fast and the Furious is on ABC now...

Possibly one of the worst movie ever made...mostly because it shamelessly targets (and markets) young audience with trendy culture (when it was out)

It's the number one reason of the fact that i have to see Rice rockets almost every day...

The only thing that sells the Fast and Furious movies is sex and cars. That's
just not enough, admittedly girl and cars are nice, I like them, but if you don't
have a complete and well thought out plot to go with them, their worthless in
a movie. That my humble opinion.

The funny thing is, at my church I know of at least four people who are big
fans of the Fast and Furious movies, and there all above the age of forty,
professed Christians, and two are even deacons. Hmmm, makes you wonder,

fast and the furious 1 wasn't that bad...
i've worked in the import scene for 2 years and was really knowledgable about this kinda stuff at the time... but then i was gifted with a 560SL instead of a honda/mitsu/toyota/etc...
eventually i kinda phased out of the import scene and moved into the... uh... i'll call it the top gear/fifth gear scene and kinda learned how to appreciate a car.

Anyways, point being is that fast and furious 1 wasn't too bad, it got really really really really really bad with the sequel (FnF2). that just made me sick, i wanted to storm out of the theatre and ask for my money back afterwards. If you haven't seen the sequel, i advise u not waste ur moeny renting it. borrow it or something. but don't PAY to watch it.

The real problem with the movie was, well, other than the fact that it sucked, was that it had no real relevance with the real world, and what true car buffs could identify with in accordance with cars.

I had always avoided watching F&F and 2F2F, because I already knew it would be crap judging by the trailers. Yesterday there was no escaping for me and I had to see a race of 2F2F at a friend's house. GODDAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!! It had nothing to do with real cars, real racing, etc. etc. etc. It was so incredibly mindless! I was so pissed off at the fucking adolescent half-wit apes that made this piece of crap that isn't worth being called movie!! I hated everything about it and I can't believe anyone would ever think that it is cool. The sad part is though, that there are more adolescent half-wit apes than just these people responsible for the movies walking this earth.
