Yes it is fsater..... plus it is meant fo rmore of track use

here are some specs...

93'-98 VT

Weight - 1625 kg (3582 lbs)
HP - 492 bhp
Torque - 580 Nm (428 lbs.ft.)
displacement - 5707 cc (349 cu)

GT

Weight - 1460 Kg (3218 Lbs)
HP - 575 Bhp
Torque - 630 Nm (464 Lbs/Ft)
displacement - 5992 cc (366 cu)

Performance #'s are almost the same just a couple tenths between the 2 bu ti would assume the GT could handle better due to 300+ less weight

Glad you enjoy gis

Got all the above info from...

I couldnt agree more...sadly the GT is made in LHD form only...so a real pain for UK use...

Saw a diablo today and it still takes my breath away, and im sure everyone at the traffic light stopped to admire the lines and curves of the car. Simply beautiful.

Imagine what it must have looked like in 1990/91 ??

i can still remember when i first saw the pictures when it came out. Jaw-dropping to say the least. it still has the same effect. Lambos just never lose their charm and appeal. They all have their place in history. Just like the Miura ..... TT.

The Diablo will no doubt be a classic in due time.

maybe the last true "outrageous" and absolute "animal" to drive supercar ever to be built

very true. the countach was really a sight to behold when it came out, it looked like it could fly. The diablo was a bit more mature, but still looked like a sleek jet. The new murc and gallargo look nice in their own right, but just not the same flaire as their predecessors. The Zonda isnt too bad also, but just doesnt look as good as the diablo..doesnt have the kind of WOW factor which would be something i want if i was to buy this kind of car.

I often see peoples reaction to the Diablo...as...what planet did that fucking thing come from...especially as you open the doors to get out...thats what makes it just a bit more special than "most" Ferraris IMO

tekwar

yeah im sure there are still a lot of people out there that have never heard and seen a lambo yet. Just watched the Supercar Showdown video you hosted. Just seeing the peoples reaction to the countach, im sure its the same for the diablo. Theres just nothing and i mean nothing in this world that can match that kind of attention that the lambo does. It seem no one was interested in the ferrari and porche.

I have seen a Countach coming towards me as I was pulling into the dealer in the Diablo...and I am like WTF....its so amzing looking even today...it takes my breath away...again think what it must have been like in the 70's....

its hard to imagine they could have come out with something like that so long ago. I doubt anyone who doesnt know the history of the car, can guess how old the design is, im amazed everytime im reminded how old it is. The diablo for example looks like something that just came out still....it holds its own easily with the newer cars.

For some reason it seems the countach is very rare...i cant remember the last time seeing that car. I have probably only seen it once in my life and that was a really really long time ago. Some guy that stayed near my place had a black one. Remember the first time seeing it. Actually i heard it from like a mile away, i was like what the hell is that, taught it was a jet flying low, it was so bloody loud. and it was a sight ill never forget.

This is IMHO the best Diablo ever. It's a shame only 80 were built

In www.highresautoimages.com there are high res pictures of this bull, and some are taken here in Sardegna near Tavolara.

One Diablo GT crashed here and the driver lost his life, while he was showing the performances of the car to a future buyer

You can find more info in the Lambo Registry.

Spot on, Jabba.

I have been a car nut literally all my life and when at the age of six my grandparents gave me a Countach from Matchbox I was hooked on Lamborghini's. Even though the shape of the toycar wasn't exactly right, it just caught me. The Countach is still an unbelievable car. It was great to see how those kids in Top Gear last year responded to it.

A man in Switzerland owns a Countach QV that belonged to Patrick Mimran and it's one of the best Countaches I've ever seen. I saw it in the flesh and it's absolutely stunning.

The GT is probably the most desirable Diablo for me... Even more power and presumably better handling than the "normal" Diablo, if there ever is one. The only thing I don't like about the GT is the air outlet on the front hood. I'd like it to be a different shape.. But still, the Diablo and the Countach are the best-looking Lambos ever.
