The RS6 is a sedan or wagon featuring a 450hp Turbo V8, meant to compete with the BMW M5, Jaguar S-Type R, and Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG.

The RS6 sedan (but not wagon) started sale in the US last year.

This racing version is used in the Speed World Challenge, one of the best touring car series in the US.

Thx for the info. I don't like Audi's much so I think I'll go with the E55 :]

It could be a air driven cylinder to lift the car up when its in the pit or doing some small work on it, I have seen stuff like this on some porsches that is used in racing.......

Thanks brembo. With this advice. This is surely the AP racing on board air jacking system.

Check the car section for specs info of the car.

It could be but it doesnt make much sense sine its in the middle of the car and would be pretty unstable heres an f-40 with it tho.

It could be there to keep the car from bottoming out when going over the curbs in turns

It could be a light to let you know what place its in. They do that in ALMS. Different color for each Division.

The factory racers look is ok, it just doesnt give the stock rs6 justice.
Anyone have any pics of just a stock rs6?
those are one of the sexiest 4 door sedans ever produced.
