No way is that heckler and Koch. It's got the body of an M4 Carbine.

I love guns...but i haven't shot in a loooong time! I shot my dad's AKM-47 and his Glock 9 mm. He has a friend who is also into hunting...and who has a UDS 36.000 hunting bow! Now that thing is fucking impressive!!!! The cords are made out of whale intestines. A single arrow for it is $100 (and you usually can't kill more than a deer with an arrow because it fucks up the feathers on it).

I like shooting rifles and hand guns. I normally shoot a ruger p89 9mm. I have shot 45 cal and 38 cal. For personal defense and if I was taking a particular round into combat it would be 45. Either a glock or a wilson combat custom 1911. You can't beat the stopping power. But just ging to the range I prefer a 9mm. The rounds cost less than a 45 and I like the feel better than a 38. Shooting rifles 223 is fine although you can't beat a 308 for distance and take down. It is relaxing to unload rounds down range. just tearing your target up. I prefer hand guns because you are right there when you are shooting your target. Rifles are also fun, but I feel a little to methodical because of thedistance and placing each round precisely and not moving. I have shot shotguns and prefer semi automatics to pump action. Hurts my shoulder faster when I use a pump.

I just wondered, but as pennstate said the webpage say SIG, I`m not very familiuar with assultrifles.

I've got a two guns. Two shotguns to be more accurate. I've got a Browning 12 Gauge, which was given to me as a gift when I was quite young. I also have a Stevens side by side, double barrel shotgun. I inherited that one from my grandfather when he passed away. For as long as I've had it, I've never shot it. My grandpa used it for Pheasent hunting, but it's been years since he passed away. So I'd have to get it checked otu before using it.

I used to go Duck and Goose hunting every year, but I haven't done it in about two years now.
When I was in High School, I used to shoot Trap and Skeet in a league at the local Gun Club. It's been awhile since I've shot, but it is fun.
BTW, never shoot a 10 guage slug, they hurt.

Yes it's a SIG.. not sure if SIG is a 100% Swiss brand anymore... anyway with it yes you can shoot in automatic mode, but you never use that.. and BTW normally you have 20 bullets chargers... it's used 90% of the time in single shot mode, the rest in 3-shots mode :D

To bad when you end your military age you have to give it back ;)

I love guns! I have a 9MM one, its brazilian. It sucks ass, I want to get a Colt Government Gold Cup 45 caliber, but I cant get them in my country.

Getting guns is easy in Bolivia, south america, But getting good ones is hard. I offered a friend to get me one and I would pe 1200$ but he never was able to get a new one.

This is the pic of the berreta... bullets for 9MM guns are banned in my country so I have to buy at 3 times the price. I spent 30$ on 50 bullets, but I love shooting so much, it was worth it.

the 100$ ones come with bottles of gass, and yes it hurts anywhere you shoot a person at (assuming he/she is alive). The bullet wont get in the skin, but damn it hurts. I had my brother shoot my back for 10$ damn the pain was worth 20$

are you sure that plastic will do the trick? I know metal bb guns with the pointy tips and round balls can. My brother got a round ball inside his foot for scratching while the rifle was loaded.

hmmm those air guns hurt, if u got plastic bullets it wont give u any wounds, just tiny bruises(unless ur shooting at eyes or sumthing like that), metal bullets can be deadly if u shoot em at nech to face, although theres many different types of metal bullets. i have owned 4 airguns in total, 1 of which was a full-auto Uzi, it was awesome. Bought it in Czech Republic for €15, sold it for almost 100€ :D

You have to be 18 or older. So you go to your local Canadian Tire and buy an airsoft gun. Just take some ID with you. I would recommend you get a Tokyo Marui (from eBay). They go from $50 to $200.

to tell u the truth, if u want a real feeling weapon, like full metal and stuff like that... go with Classic Army..
Tokyo Marui's aren't that great. I mean its plastic.. they have low range but they're great if you plan to modify the hell out of it (which i plan to do).
Canadian Tire has like American company BB guns where there are no automatics. only semi-automatic rifles.

You can get a BB gun but not an Airsoft gun in Canada due to the higher muzzle velocity on the Airsoft gun. (I know because my friend bought stuff off of Ebay and had it all impounded at the border. It's luck of the draw if your stuff gets through.)

What is it?

I was at a gun shop not too long ago with a friend. He had to have his shotgun fixed, so wandered around looking at all the stuff. Numerous different machine guns, one of which was huge, it was on a big tripod.
They also had this on the wall:

.50 calber rifle, couldn't tell you how much it was, but it was freakin huge.

I have a sig sauer 220 in 45 acp (gun is more accurate than the shooter ) and the best made factory pistol ever IMHO the Heckler and Koch p7 in 9mm (OK maybe the sig sauer p210 is the ultimate but can you carry that weapon?)

Used to have a Glock 19 - was my first pistol - lovely weapon but once you try sig or HK its so hard to go glock again. I still do regret selllling it, was a wonderful practical shooting competition pistol - had 2 extended mags besides the std one. so with these you had 52 rounds on you of 9mm +p+ Black talons 127 JHP  - a small arsenal, but in reality if you ever end up in a situation where you need more than 7 rounds you need a rifle like TT`s

For home defense I have a benelli M3 - which is a rather nice semiauto shotgun- u can empty the tube magazine (8rds) before the first shell hits the ground

^ the .50 rifle you got a pic of there is a Barret used against small personal armoured vehicles, low flying copters, satelite dishes and has an effective range of up to 1.6km - can be used at longer ranges by an expert sniper  - it was used by a British sniper in Afghanistan for the longest kill recorded in combat -just over 1500m, I stand to be corrected on the details of this.

I have some vids of these weapons in use if any of you are interested?

nice selection of weaponry there jon!

I have used our std issue R1 and R5 rifles in 5.56 or .223 calibers. had a go with an AK47 automatic (7.65) (not exactly a totally legal firearm here) - it was "confiscated" by a friend of mine who is now a police officer, he was an ex-MK soldierand this was their std issue, (MK was the military wing of the African National Congress, the current ruling party in SA)

My personal favorite is the Heckler and Koch MP5 SMG- in SA non-military personnel are only allowed to buy it in semi-auto form. Currently sells for the equivalent of 7000-10000 dollars US in SA, if you can find one. A range officer near home is selling his with all the options (laser holographic site, light, additional mags, silencer, tactical sling) for R55000(8200 dollars) a bit too rich for my palate unfortunately, plus the background checks and neighbour and community interviews to assess your mental stability and possible criminal intent are too prying to even start thinking about owning such a beaut  plus imagine what the joness will say if MAd already LOud scooby owner wants a submachinegun- he is an Urban TErrorist

A linky to a vid of the MP5sd the "silent" version, designed for counterstrike teams in HRT missions

Jon_s the vids i have are all about 1-5 megs .. i can mail em to u if u like.. I am going to search for my shooting instructional vids on cd, that is quite nice.

The GPMG was/is a good weapon, the rest are rubbish, get any water/mud/sand near them and they jam all the bloody time...you have to clean them every time you move in bad situations.

Needless to say, I don't own any of the weapons above, they were supplied to me thanks to the British Army!

I've been a fanatic since i was young. As soon as I learn how to post stuff, Il b back and mabe show a few friends of mine.

BTW Sig Sauer is a swiss brand that also has manuf in the U.S.
They make all the handguns and for the US Secret Service. Their pistols match those made by H&K and Glock. Personally, I own a Sig p226- a 9mm pistol, and I love it.

Other toys include some H&K pistols, sum sks's, and an assortment of hunting guns like a 30-06 rifle, 300. winchester mag, and multiple 12 and 20 gauge shotguns for bird hunting.

Do you mind if I ask when you got it and how much you paid?
Also, you are nuts.

I got it about three months ago. Ever since I was a young
kid I always liked guns, and the bigger the better, so naturally
when I saw this gun for the first time when paging through
a magazine shortly after it's introduction, at the Shooting,
Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show, I new that I just had to
have one, even if I would rarely shoot it. So when I was at
a local gun dealer, I decided to order one. It cost me about
$1,300 dollars, I don't think I got a good deal on it, but I
know the people at the shop and know that they are reputable
which is worth the extra money.

Before I first shot the thing I have to admit I was afraid that
I would go home with a broken nose, But after the first shot
it became apparent that this was actually a fairly manageable
gun(fairly that is; it will still give you a very nice jolt).
You see, it has a muzzle-heavy balance and a good muzzle brake,
which keeps the gun from getting out of hand. In fact I was
easily able to keep the muzzle from rising more than 45°. Ok,
45° is not slight, but this is the most powerful production
revolver in the world, it puts out nearly 2,600ft/lbs of muzzle
energy by comparison Dirty Harry's only put out about 900ft/lbs,
amazing.

I like this gun so much that I am seriously considering getting
two others, the hunter version and the version with the 4 inch
barrel.

"Move over, Dirty Harry"

^Its used to hunt bears by guys with serious thrill issues

Serious thrill issues, hmm, where did I here that recently, oh yeah,
on "Finding Nemo". That's a great movie. :)
