I think its because people in North America don't want to buy an expensive Nissan like people don't want to buy an expensive Honda or Toyota. Thats why there are the Infiniti, Acura and Lexus luxury divisions.

i think the skyline has a better brand image than the G35, even though it shares the same platform... the skyline GTR is a street GT car :fadein:

I just don't get the mentality... I'm not a fan of Skyline's at all, I'm not saying its a bad car or anything but its just too mainstream and everyone is drooling on them because some1 at some point just over rated them... just like the american cars in europe, when people see a mustang or a camaro they go nuts...

Its nothing special, look at how many skyline's are in japan and being trown out... :roll:

You say this because you live in the States... Yeah, a Skyline better then a 996TT... :roll: This is what I'm trying to say, just because it is not sold in North America everyone drools over them, they might be a good tuner car but they are just not the best cars out there... First of all being japanese I can assure you that its made out of tin :|

Suppose that all Skylines, up to the R34 anyway, were only available in RHD configuration. So there you got the main difference :mrgreen:

I have a comment on the Skyline conversion. If there is one thing Skylines are not, it is over-rated. For example, picture having a car that you could go do your grocery shopping with or take your kids to school. Then picture a car that is able to blow the doors off most sports cars. Put the two together, include one of the best all-wheel drive systems in the world, and you have a Skyline. To say that the car responsible for winning numerus JGT series championships is over-rated borders on blasphemy!! The Skyline has been banned from many classes of auto racing due to its superiority and domination of the sport! Just think, it has accomplished it all with a 2.6L inline 6 under the hood! So be wary of the super car dressed in the body of an ordinary car :evilbat:!!!! :!:
