Right now for me? It's AMG! It actually has been. It's not necessarily the beauty all the time but just the sense of awe. E55's aren't too common but very much beautiful. SL55's never fail to make me drop my jaw. S55's... :x I don't care much for ML's,SLK's, and C's. The G's you rarely see. Even SL5's are great. The M3 was on this list before, but it became just too common and too commonly driven by jerks. Cars that make me go 'ugh!': the 350z, WRXs, G35 coupes. How about everyone else?

I was saying cars you see on a regular basis driving around. Porsche's I don't feel are overly exotic.... just high end sporty. Carrera Turbo's are neat though.

Ah... regular basis... Evo/STi or Z06.

k heres a question buddy... ive been trying and trying to figure out how to exactly distinquish z06s from normal vettes. is it the longer trunk (before the window) and the longer engine bay?

also evos and stis get my attention.... but theyre still usually driven by fatties or ugly insecure people. i dont know. then again.... those mercedes' could be driven by rich pricks huh? idunno. i respect the two.... i like the evo a bit better but i think there has to be some style, despite performance, to be fully respectable.

The Z06 has a few cosmetic differences.

http://www.heartlandcorvette.com/our%20zo6.jpg <<< z06, look at the front, it has those grille air vents in the bumper, the brakes and the side has a vent, this car is black not the right car to describe this but I'm sure you will get what I say.

http://www.heartlandcorvette.com/ek_1_3.jpg <<< normal C5, no grille on the bumpers, no side vents, smaller brakes, different rims.

Thats the way I can tell if its a z06 or not.

To be honest, non of the Japanese cars make me go wow, or makes my head turn. They are just not my thing. Even if it was a skyline I wouldn't care that much. I see Cayenne's on a daily basis, there is ALOT of them here in Ottawa. Other then that it would have to be something rare to put a smile on my face.

I always love to see another Corvette of any year, or model. It's an unwritten rule within the Corvette community that whenever you pass another Corvette on the street you always wave at eachother. That always makes me smile.

SL55 AMG

Ill have to agree with the AMG's, just gotta love them....their sleeper apperance that only true car people can understand what they actually are capable of. Recently i have seen an RS6 around too and that thing is like an exotic for me too. Very rare especially in the states and in bright red. Vipers are always nice to see

in my area the chances of seeing a nicer than average car is rare. i am happy when i get to see any special cars, like an SHO taurus, a supra or rx-7, an SVT cobra and any Eagle Talon Tsi AWD

STi's, EVO's, Z-06's. There's a nice M-3 down the road from my house. Always have loved those cars..

Anything unique or where its obvious that the owner cares for his car a lot. M3's used to do it for me, but fuck i see so many of them everyday, especially when i go visit my mom and the people driving them just dont look like they know what they have. Theyve turned it into a just a "regular" car for me.

Yes, those are correct, but can EASILY be put on the C5. I'd say the most defining feature is the rear window - The Z06 has a more extreme angle than the C5. The only C5s that can immatate this are the rag tops...

Yep - we are what you call FRC's - Fixed Roof Coupes.

We have a fixed roof, and a proper trunk with a back window - not a hatch.

And there are the functionaly rear brake cooling ducts, the wire mesh covering front and side vent holes... and our wheels... ;)

Like this one....

or my own version of what the C6 Z may hopefully look like...

Although - this is my current feeling for the C6 Coupe... overworked and over hyped.. ;) Like AOL..

Any time I see a Aztec SUV it makes me laugh, I cannot stand those things or that new Honda SUV that looks like a box..but cars that make me smile are AMG's and all Porsches except boxters..not a huge fan of those, and I like M5's M3's are ok..but I also really like the Audi S4 my friend actually just got one and the exhaust note is incredible.

It's not that I don't like exotics or other great cars or anything, I love them. But there is only one car that will always make me smile and happy when I look at it. It's my car, the Perodua Kelisa. For it being my first ride pretty much made me fell in love with the car. Even though right now I'm saving some money to buy a new one (probably a nice hatchback), but I'll always love that car

you gotta understand, there are hardly any nice cars in my area at all. a lot of trucks and suvs are the common sight. maybe my standards are a bit lower than other peoples, but it is a joy to me when i see a nicer car that has been cared for. an SHO isnt that great of a car but i appreciate it because its out of the norm. a Talon Tsi AWD is a car that i would love to have and again, there are barely any talons at all where i live.
i only got to see an evo 8 a few weeks ago. sad, i know, but the only thing i see often is riced out civics....

The Perodua kelisa. Why smile? becos the one I own is the first car i have ever had (gift from mom and dad, although me pay fuel bills). Well, maybe second, since the first car my parents let me drive around regularly (before and just after i got my license) was an E34 BMW 520i (1988 model). PLus, i made out with a girl for the first time in the backseat of a car with the Kelisa.

PLus, any BMW. Why? I dont know, I see tradition passing through in front of me whenever one passes by. I never, EVER tire of staring at my mom's 3 series convertible. especially with the roof down. Apart from my Kelisa, i have never felt a warmer place in my heart for any car than i have felt for that 3 series convertible.

Heck, any BMW. I nearly yelled in delight when i came across an M3 SMG in a parking lot in a shopping complex in Kuala Lumpur. There's an 8 series in my town, one E60 530d, quite a few 3 series (all generations), 2 or 3 X5s(not sure), 4 E65 7 Series, a few E38 7 Series, a smattering of E34 5 Series.

But the pick of the bunch? two actually. MOm's 318Ci Convertible (so what if it's just got a dinky little 4-pot? 143Bhp's good enough for now), and that light blue/turqoise green M5 that goes around once every few months. Kuching is by all standards, a pretty small town.

Need I say more? The pleasure this car gives as an everyday driver - and knowing that when I see footage like this, my car would be competitive just with a change of oil and and a roll cage... ;)

I am glad GM made so many Z06's - allows the racers to smash as many as they need - yet leaves enough for lot's of amateurs to enjoy every freaking day.

And take this heads and cam 346ci Z06 - with drag tires it runs 10s 1/4 mile - put some road race wheels and tyres on it and it will lap the 'Ring in record time... :)
