Its sounds like a great idea, although it should be run just like F1,country to country, racing around endurance tracks like Spa,Nurburgring and maybe come down here for Bathurst 24hr,I hope it goes through. It would bring back fans back into sports car racing, and Gt racing...

the problem they leaved the sportscarscene was because they didn't got help from fia.
the whole idea was to get them in the formula 1 by badly promoted sportscar races.so the fia killed sportscar racing in the 90's

Bad Idea. This means that teams will be torn between entering the LeMans Endurance Series, American LeMans Series, and now the World Endurance Championship. This'll just hurt everyone.

I think the Le mans will be included in the series of course, The idea is to create a great campionship on the main circuits in the world, maybe instead of the fia gt or something. Can't wait!!!

The LeMans Endurance Series is completely seperate from this World Endurance Championship, just like ALMS. LMES is run by the ACO, WEC is run by the FIA, ALMS is run by IMSA.

None of them include LeMans itself as an actual points scoring round, especially since LeMans is still invitation only.
