I just wanted to know if anyone has gotten all platinums without one of those new xbox hacks. I have all golds and am working on the platinums. I have spent an inordinate amount of time playing that shit.

By the way... my Nurburgring time is 6:36 - anyone beat me?

And is it possible to get that time in real life?

haven't gotten all the platinums yet, but i'm over half-way with that. the Grand Touring series is nearly impossible at spots (especially the Cone Challenge in japan).

thats a nice Ring time you did, which car did you use?
my best is 6:49 right now, but that's only with 3 laps practice using the Carrera GT, I'm sure if used the 911 GT1 i'd get a lower time.

and with the cars in the game, that time is probly not possible on the real Ring. PGR2's is much wider and smoother than the real one.
the best time i've seen so far in real life is by the Radical SR3, at 7:14 i think on the first flying lap. The driver says he's confident he could get under 7 minutes with more laps though.

6:49 w/ the carrera GT seems pretty respectable, but you could get an even faster time w/ the enzo or the konigsegg (or however you spell it). I used the Porsche GT1, and i'm pretty sure i can get that time under 6:30. I just refuse to bring the game with me to school cuz I won't do any work.

Ill admit I cheated and used one of the hacks. I started off doing all the challenges and got all silvers with a few platinums/golds here and there, but I didnt have the time it took, or the patience, to try and conquer the whole thing.

My best time on the Ring is 6:30-6:40 in the Speed 12, which is pretty slow considering the car.

Anyone know if there is any downloadable content for it yet? I havent played in quite a while.

Hmm, my favorite racing game is none of the above. Voted for F1 racing game as that was the closest one :)
PGR2 is good fun, but I mainly play more simulation than arcade racing games.

well on the nurburging my fastest lap is wit the GT1 at about 6:40 :roll: . i had a ghost of my best run wit the enzo and the GT1 beat it by at least 10 seconds.

I hit 6mins 34secs round the ring in the speed twelve, i think i could do better knowing that the car in reality has 800bhp, i need to get a time of under 6mins30secs

I earned all platniums about two weeks ago, now im working on all platniums for the arcade races. some of them are harder just because you cant pick what car you want to use.

your GT1 time is good,my time for the GT1 is the one shown above of 6:20.733,your enzo time of 6:22,that i find difficult.my enzo time is 6:28.532 and that was a pretty good lap for me,hittin corners nicely,maybe could knock 1-2 seconds off that,but no way could i get another 6 seconds off it
