Everytime I startup my computer, the bootup menu show ups... it asks me to choose to boot up WinXP or Windows (which goes to MS Dos)..

Anyone how to disable it? It is very annoying to press enter or wait for the 30 secs to pass by... everytime I restart or turn on my computer ..before I can go to Winxp...

Thanks a lot :D

yep.. then you prolly need to manually edit the file, but be careful do not mess with the disk/partition info or you wont be able to get back into windows

here's mine which boots straight into windows, which you should be able to use as an example but do not copy my disk/partition info

the parts that matter for you are multi(0) and \WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOW S
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect

If you are afraid of messing something up - just set the timeout to 1 second and be done.. ;)
