No - we are saying the number is too close to an exact binary multiple to be anything except perhaps a custom post count, or an error/bug exposed in the forum software post counting algorithm... ;)

You are welcome.. :)

2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2=2^16=65536 - that means (if I remember any of my formal Cobol programming training at all correctly) it is possilbe that if the forum software has a 32 bit interga data type for that field, with a value range from -65535 to 65535, that either its the highest possible post count - and he filled it in himself - or his forum count algorithm fucked up real bad... :)

Or I could be completely wromg.. LOL

I remember on one site that I frequent, this guy had over 10.000 posts and him and the moderator got in a little 'spirited conversation' online and then the mod put his post count back to 0 just to tick him off.

Heh I'm on Acura Legend's forum. Leon was an active member, until about six months ago when he sold his Legend (Jasmyn) and got a Lexus SC. That number is incorrect...I believe his actual post number was in the three or four thousands.

When I searched for all his post I came up with 6970 "posts" not "pages".
Either way it's still a lot. The amazing thing is that, upon a quick inspection
of his posts, it seems that he hasn't done any real spamming, then again it
was a really quick inspection.

I remember on one site that I frequent, this guy had over 10.000 posts and him and the moderator got in a little 'spirited conversation' online and then the mod put his post count back to 0 just to tick him off.
On which site was that? Did he ever set them back to 10,000?
