Very cool.
Used to have an RD350, it was pretty evil whereas the devil does actully ride an RD500

I am hoping to trailer it out to the boonies for some 6th gear plug-chops to check jetting in the near future.
Gearing calculator says 11,000rpm in 6th is 168mph - will be interesting to see if it can pull the speed.
I can guarantee you that you will not be seeing anywhere near 168mph (I think you know that too), but I look forward to reading your stories attempting it.

If the bike is putting down close to 95rwhp, then 150+ shouldnt be impossible.
I pulled 158mph GPS with the RC45 and that only put down 92rwhp. The advantage the RC45 had is the super close ratio gears. 1st pulled 100mph and then you had 10mph in each subsequant gear.
You're a fattie, it's not happening.

Then I will just have to buy another RZ500 motor and do the 180bhp 768cc Banshee mod.
I will have a 180mph 500cc GP Replica I tell you :P
Thought you were a 4 stroke man, but looks like you really have somethig for the RZ.
Look forward to your videos. Pointing to the sky in every gear change, of course ;-)

I know what you mean.
First love was a 2 troke italian, a Ciao Piaggio. Hey I was only 12 !
(already googled that?)
After some non-permanent relationships, including an affair with an NS400, I tried off-road with a TS 125 and realized I loved sand, mud and dust.
I'm still happily married to a 20sth year old. She's a Honda XLX.
Not the most desirable one, but the one you love, the one that's always there for you. Bet you know what I mean ;-)
But I've realized I sometimes daydream of Italy (back to first love?). Maybe mid-life crises do exist!
Who knows? If one day I show you the keys of a Ducati Monster, you'll probably understand what hapenned :-P
BTW, you had a nice selection of japanese on-roaders

Which oil do you use?
The one we see, (youtube provides no smell so far) ;-)

I got over the Ducati Monster the first time I rode one in 1992. The idea of naked street fighter is lost on me.

Did Dan ever tell you about his expiriment with spambots? I'm not referring to batgirl... but al123's site. I forget what it was originally devoted to; but it became a haven for spammers. Then Dan wanted to see how far it would go.
It went VERY far, where he couldn't do anything but pull the plug... Bots eventually were linking to kiddy sites. Yeah, those ones.

Oh, they where not those $3000 modern sets - these are early 90's used up ex-race wheels LOL
No-one else wanted them, paid $540 for the pair - I will send them to be x-rayed to be sure they are somewhat safe before paintin gup and mounting some sticky rubber.
Booked the U-Haul trailer for Saturdays trackday - GoProHD all charged up, new memory cards, data logger should be mounted by Thursday - all set for a shakedown run on Saturday.
Hope it is not too cool, as I only have 290 jets on ahnd, the 300 to 340 set has not arrived yet, so I cannot really handle anything colder than 50*F.
Never pay full price for anything. :)
RC is just getting prepared to be on a fixed income :P

Nice van! And now your van is wheelchair accessible too! So maybe at the track, you can park in the handicapped zone!
I've never been too partial to the Lucky Strike team myself... but if that is the era/sponsorship of the bike... who can complain?
