A hunk of American pig iron about to be overtaken by a Ferrari V12?

How much do you think a 69 Camaro weighs?
In stock form and then in track prep form?
Live a little, learn a lot.

Its a nice picture and the camaro is certainly a prettier car than that Ferrari, but for all we know, that camaro is about to get lapped for the 10th time

I think the Camaros they raced in the BTCC were probably track prepped and they used to get passed by Minis on occasion.

Only on tracks where the Minis didnt run out of gear. RPM/Wheel diameter/gearing/drag limited most minis to about 160kmh top speed. By the same token stock non-overdrive muncie 4 speed Camaros topped at 204kmh.

Nice shot! The driver can make more difference than anything else on the track.
