Now that New Years is a while behind us,, do you think it would be cool to allow JW members to have a contest - to see who can create the best banner for JW. Hopepully TT can set this up as a contest and set up the appropriate voting session!

I think that the resolution for the banner should be stated. What is the maximum width and height?

Or should it be kept exactly that size? (800 x 160)

Now I have always been in favor of a smaller banner graphic. Course majority rules so if most folks like a big graphic up there its ok with me. I just dont like large graphics cause it ends up pushing everyhting else on the page down and most newbies to sites dont know what the scroll up/down bar does. if they dont see it on the screen then they dont know its there.

Then I took his side lambo and ferrari logos and used it on my banner..

The only thing i dont like is ur font choice and size. Make the pciture less transparent...its to faint i feel. keep the highlighted feel in the words its good i think, but resize the text.... give its a more solid feel is all!

I had two ideas, this one about the cars, and one where the world is in the middle and there is one key with its keychain in each side. Obviously the lambo and ferrari logo were to be placed on the keychains. I might attempt this when I got more time, I just wanted to contribute in this one for now though.

so far that's the winner in my book, though i think the blended car is way too wide, narrow it together a bit and it'll be gold

i also think Demon shouldn't be so conspicuous on the bottom of that liscense plate, it makes it look like you're the owner of the site or something. i'd put a really small inconspicuous "Demon Graphics" or "made by Demon" in one of the corners of the pic

the yellow horsie has an aura it seems. I mean there is like a square of yellow arround it. I could convert the horse to yellow and the bull to red since I have the horse and bull separate from the rest if jabba likes it better. I just thought the other way was more "real"

That's what I was thinking. I clicked a link on RS6.com that lead to JW and the new window opened with Cobalt, so I suddenly saw DeMoN's great new banner. I'm not seeing it in FI Subice. I guess it will be incorporated in the FI Subice theme later? I really love it.
