Some time ago was in JW one thread where was one crashed Focus RS.I used search but couldn`t find it :oops: The pics and story were taken from on german car forum.Can somebody help me?

This is one crazy car.Only one thing is wrong with it,FWD.BTW in estonia one dude is building a AWD focus based on RS and bodykit that is exactly the same like Markko Märtin`s WRC.

In reply to Imre, i spect uve seen it, but there is a rear wheel drive, cossie platformed, and engined white 3 door focus built by A1 rallysport. Its a beast! Ive there was a vid of it messing around at bruntingthorpe prooving ground a while ago, doin dounuts and stuff. Ive got a dvd wiv it on, on redline's TOTB (ten off the best). Its an awsome car! But no WRC bodykit im afraid!

He is building the web.www.bonsella.ee I don`t know when he gets ready.But the car is going to be on the road in the beginning of the spring.It`s technical side is ready but the bodykit is going to take some time.

I know Tappy from when he owned a Fiesta. He fitted the suspension to my car for a crate of beer lol. We go to all the shows around the country in the Summer.

I don't know anyone else just the ex-fiesta people, but they both are active users of the fiesta forum (UKFN)

I shall have to have a fish about.....I got some from shows last year, but my car is about to under-go a major transformation! :D I have decided I can't afford a new car as well as saving for a deposit on a house and mortgage e.t.c so a new engine, new brakes (need new wheels to fit the brakes!), new suspension and a re-spray will happen over the next two years! When I finish I should be kicking out around the 200bhp mark :D

I have seen sunny's car, I posted a vid of it doing the 178mph ages ago I think. Here is his home page:

I have a mk4 fiesta at the moment. In terms of the engine, I am in talks with Tony from Pumaspeed (he is doing the transplant). http://www.pumaspeed.co.uk/intro.htm

Options are:

1)A Racing Puma Engine with a few additions. 155bhp 'standard'. As you know, the Puma is identical to the fiesta (mk4/5) so there is no work involved, all the mounts are the same e.t.c it just fits in! That engine could be pushed to a reliable 170bhp.

2)Focus St170. Obviously it is developing 170bhp standard. But it is a large engine for a fez. So some work would be needed to fit it in. BUT see next option!

3)RS Focus engine. As this transplant is being done in about a year, by then a few RS engines will be floating about. 250bhp! hehehehehehe. Problems are: size (same as ST170). Also 250bhp going through the front wheels. So possible 4x4 conversion from a Cossy. But that is a LOT of work! I just don't know what it would be like. It is bad enough in the Foucs, let alone a fez!

Other probelms: In general, the more bhp, the heavier the engine.....could ruin the handleing! Major understeer. Need to sort that out. Even with H+R coilovers I suspect I would have problems. Torque steer is another problem.

4)If I suddenly lose my mind though......Tony can be very good at talking you into things, a Cossy engine :shock:

Also, I don't want to get an older engine such as an RST. To find a good engine is very difficult.
