there was a driveby on my house three weeks ago but luckily they only shot paintballs. it was still shocking though cuz we had no idea who did it or why, but the worst part about it is that they cracked a window and hit a part of the front of the house too high for me to reach and clean

As bad as that is, I have to say that the child who was shot in Pennsylvania is far worse. Poor kid going to school and takes one in the face. WTF is wrong with people?

As horrible as it sounds, I can think of more than one use*cough*peoplewhodriveslowintheleftlane*cough* for machine guns on the road.

I guess you have to move outside the USA to feel safe.
IMO the problem isn't the number of guns in the US, or how easy it is to get one legally. It's just that americans are so scared.
In Norway we have a lot of guns per person, and I think you just have to be a member of a gun club to get one. Not absolutely sure about those laws. The major difference is that no noncriminal norwegian would buy a gun for protection. Guns are used for hunting. Of course there is a sick world out there, but we are not that scared of it.
I dont really give a damn about getting shot, if you live your life in fear then there will be no enjoyment.

It's not the problem of it being easy to legally obtain a gun. The problem is that it's easy to obtain a gun illegally.
Anyone can get their hands on a gun.
