As nice as this car is, it is a little dissapointing that all the latest "ulitmate cars" from each manufacturer are really nothing more than rolling computers with big engines.

Not yet. We still need a human to insert the key (or the fat credit card shape thing) and move that round thing in front of you. :-P

Almost all "advances" in automotive technology seem to be electronics related. And generally to reduce human intervention: helps to brake, to park, not to slide, not to press a pedal, not to move a lever, not to wheelspin, etc.
The less we do the better?
