It is the most common sense "electric" car.. it is essentially a diesel electric locomotive ;)

GM should make trains.. oh wait, they do GM EMD... ;)

Except, when these cars need repairs, like the other "green cars" on the market will cost you the earth, and we will end up throwing these cars away because it will cost too much to repair.

All around a bad idea for everyone involved. Especially the effect on fuel prices.

lol I love how Jay points out how lame in comparison the volt is compared to a car from 1916. I dont think its such a bad looking thing my biggest complaint is that strip of plastic or whatever around the bottom. It looks especially odd on the sides because it doesnt match the doors....like they came from another volt that doesnt have that gray plastic trim

That is the most boring car period i rather drive a robin reliant than that car
What i don't like that jay leno's buys into this kind of boring junk.
Jay leno has plenty of much more interesting cars.
