Sorry but you are wrong.Straight performance like cornering was always very importante too European costumers.

Engines sizes are increasing simple because in part cars are becoming heavier and heavier and too like a natural evolution of sports cars,not only in Europe but all over the world. More safety regulations,more equipment and so on.The only car maker that resembles with American sports car is AMG with theres fantastic 6.3 V8 block and only in engine size.Europeans cars were always way faster than American cars,think Ferrari,Lamborghini,Porsche...

Your auto boxes have nothing to have with this amazing twin clutch dont forget that.

Engines sizes are increasing simple because in part cars are becoming heavier and heavier and too like a natural evolution of sports cars,not only in Europe but all over the world. More safety regulations,more equipment and so on.The only car maker that resembles with American sports car is AMG with theres fantastic 6.3 V8 block and only in engine size.Europeans cars were always way faster than American cars,think Ferrari,Lamborghini,Porsche...

C6 ZR1/CTS-V the closest America has come to making a good car, and they're very cheap but where is the highlight? The acrylic bonnet window??? That said, at least there are still some domestically produced cars. Who could forget the lincoln 'town car' or the buick riviera. Oh and as for 10 versions of the same pathetic car, at least they have to look different to fool the public. I was flabberghasted by the lack of effort to disguised the Chevrolet avalanche from the stupid Escalade pickup shitbox. Oh my god, and the grand marquis/crown vic, it still looks like a taxi???? How retarded are their customers???

The US market cars don't do too many favors to themselves either when pricing those cars in the European markets. Periods? No bleeding on this end boss. I think you might have your import tax theory mixed up. Japan isn't part of Europe yet cars from the East are not over priced wether they're built here or there. The thing with American cars, a Mustang in the U.K. e.g. is that it has to be personally imported, which attracts import duty. Try to remember that European cars are very different from those in North America, needs are different, expectations are different.

You can buy a Corvette here, but from a Cadillac dealer (if you can find one), Chevrolet here is what used to be Daewoo (Daewho?). America might well be a good friend to Europe and thank goodness, otherwise we might all be speaking German but cars do a different job. The market speaks for itself, if you could sell thousands of cobalts here then you'd be able to buy a cobalt here..............
