He is trying very hard to overcome the bad press from the Viper rip-off years
...and I hope the folks he ripped off in the early years are happy to see what they where financing ;)

He's got a financial backer who is a whale so to speak... he never could've done his current set up on his own with his previous rip offs...

This is true, some well-heeled people around here still rather pay to send their cars out of state/out of town rather than do business with him... once burned twice shy as they say.

also, he was found guilty of shoving matchbox cars up peoples butts, and over charging them.
