Good deal on a pair on CLK GTRs

£1.1 million for both a Coup and Roadster . Not bad for a unique car (20 coupes and 5 Roadsters ever made) that was sold for £1+ million each 4 years ago.
IMHO that's a good investment :thumbup:

In the collecting world, nobody wants to touch a roadster... they appreciated like crazy until a few blokes drove them. They are mechanical nightmares... not just hard to drive like race cars are. They weren't even built in house... (or by the same people as the coupes).

CLK GTR's are very cool... but its difficult to say that 1.1 m pounds sterling is a good deal for the pair. Maybe, maybe not.

The estimate price for each was less than they finally reach ... Considering the base price and the fact that they received an Ilmor modified engine with 720 bhp, it can be a good deal indeed ;-)
