wtf, my brother (graphic designer) says the most probable way the movie was made is modifying the movie clip into a gray-scale, then maybe with a program changed the gray pixels into the ascii code.
great movie, looks better if you see it from 2 meters away from your screen

i was gonna say it takes a supernerd to create something like that, but when i first saw this in a thread (7 months ago) someone said there's a computer program that can make this kind of animation
it's just another example of how relatively unintelligent we NORMAL people are
that is very very cool that would be a awsome screen saver 0X :mrgreen:

yeah there are a few programs around that do that kinda stuff for ya... take forever though and at teh end of the day, does it serve a purpose??

i have the 1024x something but what i did is just make a zoom out in the opera and it worked fine, btw great find

there is a program that does it easy for you, i used to have it on my old computer, forget the name, you just import the movie and it gives you the code to use
