the SLR's torque converter helps it off the line; and perhaps aerodynamics play a bigger role in the top end. Given power/ weight ratio, I would expect it to be close. That said, the SLR's gear ratio for 5th is obtuse, and maybe is considerably shorter with the 722? Anybody know?

I think the lambo's needs a couple of turbo's.
