Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May compete in an epic London-to-Edinburgh race, setting out to discover what Top Gear might have been like 60 years ago. James grabs himself a gorgeous old Jaguar XK120 sports car, while Richard chooses to torture himself on the Vincent Black Shadow motorbike, and Jeremy takes the Tornado, a new steam train built to the blueprints used to create some of Britain's finest locomotives in the heyday of the railways.

whoa this was an amazing episode. I have never seen anything go around the track so fast as the FXX, I knew it was going to be the fastest on the board just by looking at it.

also the crowd went insane when the Stig revealed himself lol :D

That was a brilliant episode. One of the best, I think. That easily goes on as one of my top 3 races they've done. I already like it more than any other races they've done outside Europe.

Yup that's his FXX. Ferrari wouldn't let anyone else drive the FXX except for Schumacher :)

great episode, it is the best car series on tv and perhaps one of the better shows, period. Schumacher in the FXX was great, shows how much faster it is than an ENZO, 8.3 seconds per lap faster, on that track the FXX would lap the ENZO every 9 laps. Cannot wait for the Veyron vs McLaren episode

Was a great season opener! the FXX was astonishing!! and MS was an amazing surprise! and they couldn't make it funnier! too bad he didn't took the cheap car around the track, but other then that.. amazing start for what looks like a GREAT season! :thumbup:

yes, top gear is back with another amazing ep, making 5th gear and tg australia's efforts look rubbish once again :-D and schumacher was an amazing surprise! the veyron vs f1 feature should be awesome today!
