She really didn't say anything that offensive or ridiculous. Weddings do produce a lot of waste and one might as well take advantage of that and buy used. The other stuff, like skipping aisle runners, was predictable but not really horrifying either.

What some people spend on a wedding these days is absurd. This lady was practical and kind of refreshing, not at all what I was expecting from the "green bride guide."
