For my first guess I am going to say 90's Vectra.

^I was thinking Astra. It doesn't look that big from the picture.

the bumper indent at the front is making me thing 80s mazda but I think the sides are too rounded. Are the headlights short but wide? maybe a rover SD1.
if I had to put money on it I'd go for the last gen cavalier

The transaction has to occur before he will reveal the car. Patience, friends!

how much would you pay for a sierra nowadays anyway? £500.00? :))

It depends on the model, I would say from £5 upwards

I have a late guess
KIA MENTOR
This whole mystery car thing was just bluff......it was just a normal sierra and the guy got attention he really didn't deserve. Well he hasn't sold the car yet and probably won't sell in that price.

How do you know?

Never seen such a car before....
So would Ryszard be tempted to bid on such a risky auction if he came across it? "No. Not at all. I think I am quite savvy and I wouldn't dream of bidding but but there are plenty of people who have."
Yet he expected to sucker others?

getting one over on your fellow countrymen was always something people liked to do... so yeah i don't see the problem with that
