It's a common tale with GT-Rs on the road. GT-Rs cannot be registered in the US because it was never officially sold here. And the only way would be to do what a lot of people do, which is to take it apart piece by piece, ship it, reassemble and register it as a kit car.

oooorrr there are people who pay "shops" to "convert" an existing Nissan to look like aN R34 . . . of course they're just ripping of VIN's.

I guess that is wat they did
For example a porsche 959 is not legal you have convert to make it legal
