Anyone know why Kazaa Lite doesnt have anymore users? I'm literally the only person on when I open it. Kinda weird...

Kazaa Lite K++ has the same users as the normal Kazaa so maybe it's time for you to update you version buddy I get fuckin tons of results it says some where in the 30,000,000 Gigs worth of files.

Today I was on with another 3'000'000 ppl and during the night I downloaded around 500 MB and sent maybe another 500... so I guess it is still working proprely.. but I see "only" 4'000'000 GB at the moment

the server for kazaa is in Australia and last night on the news i herd that Australian music companies are trying to shut it down and sue people that use it. It is a sydney company that host it

A server for kazaa? A p2p network doesn't have a main one.. and BTW, wasn't kazaa now bought by a company that made it a paying service?

The kazaa offices where raided at somepoint in the last 24hours.

As TT stated unlike Napster kazaa is ai distributed network where no one computer acts as a connecting point. This is why its very hard to police, shutdown as it only takes two peiple with it installed to be able to network and share files.

they do have servers at Sharman Networks the parent company. And they did get hacked and raided the servers and employee computers this morning (in the US) they are from Australia.

what is k lite resurection.

Im using kazaa lite K++ version 2.4.3 right now, and its downloading normally. maybe your isp is blocking its use.

this is sooo weird. can anyone help me out with fixing this problem? Cause I still cant use it and I just enabled my firewall to allow kazaa and etc.

Let's resume... your kazaa connects but you are the only one online? And a search won't return results I guess... that's damn weird!

haha yeah it is... so I was wondering if anyone could give me a link to download kazaa lite resurrection and see if that works. Other than that...anyone else know the reason of the problem?

No idea for the new kazaa lite.. in the meanwhile try the last version of the "old" one on oldversion.com... the 2.4.something.. maybe it will help already

What do you suggest Demon? To upgrade or not to upgrade? Is it definitely better than the old one?

haha im tempted to upgrade...i'll upgrade if you guys upgrade.

I upgraded because my participation level dropped, it was no longer 1000. I do notice getting files faster though. As far as upgrade... the only new thing I see is a minimization line. In the regular KaZaA if you click on the X the program goes to the taskbar. Now, there is a button to have it minimize to taskbar, the X closes KaZaA.

Someday, you will have to upgrade, so why not give it a try when you are bored?
