Looks like I was wrong; the Xbox 360 is powerful enough for a higher detail version of Halo 3! Looks awesome; and the "real" reason for the Recon Armor. Will it be 2x 640 lines like Halo 3, or 720p? or 1080?

We'll see....

The story isn't anything original, but it was just so executed well, and compelling.

I don't think its crappy looking... I'm an old Command and Conquer, and Starcraft player, so I'm sure I'll enjoy it quite a bit... A large part of getting into those games is familiarity with the weapons. Playing Halo for the last 6 years has definitely done that for me LOL

After watching the trailer yesterday I must say my desire to play video games has returned.

too bad for the long wait though!
