The goal is the stay as close as possible on the other car and drive away from the other car

There is no passing. If the car in front pulls away, it wins. If the car behind stays on the front car's ass, that car wins.

the R35 does sound similar to the R34 in terms of exhaust noise...not bad...would love to hear the wastegate pop though lol.
