We spent the day putting an AWD RT12 and AWD CTR through their paces at MSR Houston a little while back....

I finally got around to putting some of the video we took together and posted it up on YouTube.

Here is the first installment... I didn't time that one...

Damn straight - if I didn't have a family and mortgage, I would be living in an apartment, eating Kraft Mac n Cheese and driving an RT12.

Thats how good that car is.

Is it the driver or this car very very stable even at the limit?

It is a little of both ;) - I would like to claim to be the baddest mofo on the track, but the truth is I am just a little weeny amatuer weekend hack - and the RT12 is just that good... this 700ps AWD edition just feels so good, it gives you amazing confidence in the car.

And even when you are driving onto the straightaway with the front wheels almost spinning and pulling you this way and that, it still feels "under control".

The RT12 is by the best all-round sportscar I have ever driven.

At about $300,000 it is not the best bang for the buck, and it is not the fastest, but it is the only one that allowed for Schumacher-dreams on track, and Getaway in Stockholm-dreams on the street all on the same set of tyres and the same tank of gas.

*bows down to the mighty RT12*

Long live the King... ;)

Great to see both of those supercars out being used properly instead of parading around some downtown core or a garage queen

It wasnt the height of summer - and they were not out for more than about 10 laps or so at a time, and were not beat on mercilessly, so neither showed undue heating issues on the day - but I would be wary about tyring to thrash them for hours on a 130* F track temp day.
