Thanks for the link- I 've never read about how carbon fiber was made from a detailed chemical standpoint before.

it mentions a little bit about carbon fibre in the top gear - mclaryn f1 video.
to my knowlage it's like fabric thats heated and cooked ina presurised oven.

they offer a few DVDs on how to make fiberglass and carbon fiber pieces, granted its mostly for audio and not really hoods or wings, but its a start :D
