Couple of years ago, a company named Cobra International showed renderings of Galmer Arbitrage GT, a sports car proposal powered by an LS7.

Now they've apparently stopped working on it to work on this new car. It will be based on the same chassis and drivetrain. It retains the standard 500hp LS7, and they hope to keep the weight down to around 800kg. There's even talks of a 1000hp Lingenfelter powered version.
Apparently, Giotto Bizzarrini, from whom the name comes from, has given his blessings, even though neither of them own the Bizzarrini name. So... they're trying to market the car as a "Scuderia Bizzarrini". Which should be interesting as VGM Motors, the people who own the Bizzarrini name, are trying to bring back the marque with its own Ghepardo GTS 4.0V. (whose engine capacity has been shrinking down bit and bit as it nears production) http://www.vgm-motors.it/

If everything goes well for Cobra Int./Galmer, we'll see a running prototype of the new P538 by November.
