Flat out on dutch country road

Nice video of a great bike doing what it does best - and almost all of his trip through the countryside was ok - but he sorta overdid it around the traffic in town don't you think?
I mean, with all that open country road to blast down, why not take it easy in the congested areas?
Great bike none the less... I would go so far as to say,the greatest single bike ever sold to the public ;)

The RC51 can't touch the RC45.... it's V twin, not much quicker in stock form (even if it is a 1000cc vs 750) and about as much appeal as the other mass produced bikes.
The RC51 is just ike every other GSXR750 or ZX7R, or dare I say every mass produced Ducati 916/995/996/998.
;)

It's your prerogatve to disaggree with me, but the facts is while only about 1200 RC45's where hand assembled on workbenches by a special crew of HRC folks, for the entire world market (including all the race bike chassis) over a 6 year period - the RC51 SP1/SP2 was a regular production mass produced model that rolled off the produciton line by the 10,000's of bikes per year and can be found anywhere at anytime for a pretty cheap price - and to be anything decent requires extensive and expensive mods.
Having riden both bikes in street and modded track form, there is little to compare - the RC45 is no larger than a GP250cc motorcycle that you slide into and control with little more than thought control, while the RC51 is a great big monster you climb on top of and hang on while you manhandle around corners ;)
But as I say, you are free to have your opinion and believe the common hype :) hehe

I liked the RC45 better for the rush, but now that my car is getting to be as fast as the bike was, its a close call ;)
