Well it was before the first Lambo was build.

It's not sure it really went like that. It's one of those Lamborghini legends. It is very likely that Lamborghini got to speak to Ferrari though. What was really said, we'll never know. The problems with the Ferrari that Ferruccio Lamborghini drove did bring him to the idea of building a better GT car. Enzo Ferrari wasn't the nicest of persons, so it is also likely he insulted Lamborghini. Again, we'll never know what really happened.
