Saw Bank Job tonight. A really super movie. Not what I expected at all. Supposedly a true story. Not your typical bank caper movie, lots of intrigue, double crossing, pretty girls and lots of nudity.
If you see it, make sure you look for the John Lennon look alike. I assume they are saying that was really actually John Lennon in the true story, but dont want get sued by Yoko.
Great English cast. Takes place in the 1971.
From Wikipedia apparently it is a pretty amazing and true story. John Lennon and Yoko were involved.

What's the wiki link? Couldn't find anything related when searching for "Bank job".
Is this a new movie? I love this genre :-P

Sounds intriguing. Doesn't seem like there's much room for nudity, though...

I agree, it was an enjoyable film. It had a little bit of everything.

I dont want to spoil anything. But there is blackmail involved, prostitution, whore houses, filming porn movies, watching porn movies, batchelor parties, etc. I guess just your average weekend in London sort of stuff.
Jason's great as usual.

Yeah, my friend and I were completely shocked with all of the nudity. It was a pleasant surprise. Like I said, a little bit of everything.

Haven't heard anything about it in Australia. Some films take ages to get out here, if ever.

And considering what it says about the Royals you may never see it. Yeah nudity, Royals and John Lennon, its not your average bank robbery movie. Lord Mountbatten keeps his clothes on but not all Royals do.

Ah, I saw this recently on a plane flight. Very intriguing; one of the best I've seen for some time.

Is it out on DVD? It didnt do well here, so I may have missed the DVD at Target.
A lot of the stuff from the movie is in Wikipedia, so its really more amazing when you find that out.

Suppose to be out on July 15th. Yeah I am looking forward to it too.
You just got to like this old-english style movies, the modern and the older ones. Even their accent is an advantage. I saw it a month ago – it's a bit of a traditional way of filming: no group sex, no bloodbath, no aliens and conspiracies;-). Boring? Not at all!

Okay finally checked it out. Pretty good movie. Definitely recommended. You know what I was thinking through out the movie was why does every single British Bank movie always have to be so complicated, a la Layer Cake, Snatch, etc. Haha. ;)
It is never straight forward job. But definitely the twist and turns are done very.
Two Thumbs up. :D

Inside Man, The Thomas Crown Affair, After the Sunset were pretty complicated too.. I guess a smash and grab movie wouldn't make for good viewing?
Just realised this is prolly my favorite genre.

Haha, yeah Smash and Grab isn't bad. ;) Remember Heat? Haha, then again Heat was pretty smart too.
Yeah Thomas Crown was great. Definitely one of Pierce Brosnan's better moments.
