I think Guitar Hero series has run its course. I see Rock Band to be more complete. (obviously since it adds other elements) And Rock Band actually lets you create your own band and customize the characters.

It's fun, but the gameplay's novelty's worn out. All it can rely on (as ever) is additional downloadable songs.

Oh, and I hear that they're trying to milk the series by making band-specific Guitar Hero games now. Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, for example, is coming out in June.

Except the marathon set. Me and my roommate played an 8 song one that took over an hour. I could barely move my hands. And i know its not even the longest one. Its rather ridiculous.

I got rid of my xbox360 to enjoy true HD stuff and blue ray now that HD DVD is phased out.
Guitar Hero 3 has awesome songs.. how can you guys not like it ? :(
