Quite an interesting design. A few minor tweaks here and there could make this thing look great.

Gorenchem, The Netherlands, February, 2008 - Automotive design and coach building firm Ugur Sahin Design announced plans to build a Chevrolet Corvette Supercar entitled the Corvette Z03 Concept. The vehicle will be built in a limited production of just 100 units utilizing the platform of the world renown Corvette Z06 and will have a restyled body made of carbon fiber. Not the nicest custom coachwork excectution I have ever seen, but if you cant get your hands on a ZR1 I guess this would have to do ;)

Im just hoping this isnt the final design. It has a lot of nice ideas they just dont look as good as they could, or should. Though I admit the more I look at it the more I appreciate some aspects of it

My impression is that it looks like they took a vette and tried to make it look more like a 599 mixed with a classic 70's stingray

It looks like that fake modern Dino concept that was put out a year ago.... not a bad thing, but not very corvette in any way, shape, or form... not even one of Zora's mid engine reflections in it :-\

ANd by the looks of it there concept is too small all round - the frame, radiator locaitons, twin turbo plumbing and wide wheels wouldnt fit under that skinny body ;)

There are some nice C3 elements (C3 Chrome Bumper cars are my all time favourite Corvette) but I think the fenders are too tall - and they almost have the classic Coke Bottle shape, but not qute - and whats with the F430 nostrils?

I'll be blunt. I don't like it and it's ugly. The usual Corvette cues are there, but they're oddly executed. Too round perhaps? It reminds me of a kitcar.

Only part of the design that resembles a Vette (C5/C6) is the shape of the ass.

And as you can see they are opposite to the 430 profile... so if they wanted the nose to look like a plastic nose '73 and up, they would have chosen the correct shape/profile for the nostrils. :)

Their concept front is an obvious 430 ripoff ;)

The green area gets my vote as a positive hail back to the C3 nose...
The red circled nostril is too F430 and needs to be changes to be Corvette correct and not detract from the overall appeal - because people will just say "Man that looks like an F430 instead appreciating the whole design.
The fenders are so tall as to look unbalanced... to thick from most angles.
And if is based on the C6, why the C5 type badge?

Although, the Corvette came along time before the 8C ;) so perhaps the 8C looks too much like a Corvette.

Exactly my point when you say certain bits look straight from a Ferrari. The main design component was originally on the vette, they've just updated the look and it happens to look like Ferrari vents

Which in turn means everyone says "uh - its just an F430 ripoff" and all their design effort is wasted ;)
