Complaints ~
The rear bumper looks too large, the tail lights seem too small, the mirror doesn't fit well with the design, and where are the T-Tops???

other then that, looks like a pretty cool package :)

Does not have enough Camaro heritigae in it from that angle. I dare say this car is just going to end up being a new car with an old badge... see Pontica GTO for reference ;)

similarities to the old F body
RWD
V8 power
6 speed manual
some similarities in the looks department

it really is an all new car, even with IRS, chassis, etc...... if it were the old car with new elements, then it would be the Corvette :P

And for the record the last gen F-Body was not a looker, pretty darn ugly in all reality :) - but thats all that was around so it sold - much like the previous 2 versions of the Mustang.. hell any car that fills a need will sell, ugly or not - note the unbelievable Camry sales aournd the world, I do believe there are 2 Camry's for every adult human - and some people even bough 3 of those blobs in a row ;)

And there is a lot to be said for doing things that way... The Vette wasnt the car that "went away for a while" - but rather the one that has been around continually for over 50 years ;)

I think they've got the basic proportions right. The tail lights are innoffensive but the front dissappoints me. I think they should go with big setback headlights like in the Bumblebee Transformers Camaro. Also, the white/black contrast gives it a furrowed brow look from the front . . .

I dunno. I thought the Pontiac version looked better. It all depends on what version of the Monaro you're talking about.

More like 3.6 billion Camry's -= some people bought them by the gross in the good years.

1983

Not for any "removal from market" reason.. and while there was no 1983 model, its not like you couldn't buy a Corvette in 1983 :)

I've heard there were 4-5 1983 Corvettes....

Test build whereupon they realised it was not ready ;)
