Molto bene :D Very good
Ma in firma hai una Allroad o è un prototipo audi Suv...?
Is it an A6 Allroad or a "never made" audi suv?

The cool thing about the English language is that you can understand the persons intention, even if he uses the wrong adjective. By saying "Rich" we get the picture :)

Welcome Home m8 :)

Are u telling me that S is better than V6 and that I must choice it? ( I didn't undersand so good :) )
If so, u are talking good (!) ... The "S" is a true Porsche, the V6 isn't so powerful.... but 13.000 Euro... about 13.000 dollar... of difference (?)... it's a lot. And the cayenne V6 is always a Cayenne in the look, and his 214 km/h aren't so bad :)

If st-anger tells you to buy the S, you should listen to him IMO ;) I know 13'000 are a lot, but you get much more than the V6 ;)

well, i don´t want to push anyone to buy a certain car, but btw, thx TT for your confidence in me, but Porsche_Cayenne if you´re interested i´ve driven all 955´s and of course the TT is by far superiour, but the "S" is definitely a good alternative when money is an issue, but again, i would NOT go for the V6, i know 13k € is a lot, but better wait for some time untill you´ll have the money and buy a "S"...

otherwise, i´ve looked up my little review of the V6 i´ve posted some time before:

i´ve already driven a 955 V6 and, well…what can I say…
you know it`s hard for me to say “this Porsche is crap…” but a Porsche with 2160kg, only 250hp and with a top speed of only 132mph… not very impressive at all
but it has to be seen from the economical side, just take the Boxter, the Porsche for those who can`t afford a 911, and i`d never buy a Boxster.
but keep in mind Porsche is the world's most profitable car maker and we`ll keep it like that, so there has to be a base modell, sure there`s the “S” but it`s all about the marketing strategy such cars are produced. i´ll give you an example, Porsche owners are probably the most faithful drivers of a brand, once you buy a Porsche you`ll stay with Porsche. you buy a Boxster when you`re 28, a 911 five to ten years later… a 955 V6, some years later a 955TT…
this is not my opinion, this is the result of a market analysis, so it makes sense to have such a base modell, on the other hand there`s no question that the “real” Porsche owners and fans are a bit upset by this strategy, but Porsche won`t be number one without this strategy, the next step is already in planning process, a four door sedan/coupe to rival the M5, RS6, E55...
but back to the Cayenne V6, nevertheless i´ll give you a short driving impression:
well a Porsche without a Porsche engine...not exactely!
i´ve driven the Touareg V6 as well and in the Touareg i´m really sorry for that engine, because it`s simply too weak for a SUV of that weight, and it`s nearly impossible to drive it sportive.
believe it or not, the Cayenne`s VW V6 is from another planet, in comparison...
there`s enough power even at very low revs, throttle acceptance is very good, and it keeps the power up `till the limiter. how`s that? well, it has 30hp more than the V6 in the touareg, but more important is the fact that Porsche engineers installed a new inlet manifold onto the cylinder head, also the air flow is improved, and the peak torque graph covers nearly horizontally a rev band from 2500 to 5500rpm. there`s a considerably power kick at ~4500rpm when the inlet manifold switches from the long torque channel to the shorter power channel.
the 6speed gearbox is quite good, but gearshift lever travel is too long and the auto from the TT is way better for that SUV. suspension is quite the same as in the S and TT, way stiffer than in the Touareg. so it´s possible to drive the 955 V6 sporty, but there`s really no comparison to the S or TT in any way, just like when a 911 is compared with a Boxster.
so IMO it´s not crap and it IS a Porsche, no question, but the heart of a decent sports car driver is bleeding when seeing that Cayenne...

as always, if you have any more questions related to Porsche, don´t hestitate to ask....

Hey st-anger what do you think of the Techart Cayenne Turbo? My girlfriends dad wants to get hers done up by Techart since he already has a Techart GT Street. Or do you recommend a different company?

Thx for the *information* st-anger, you know a lot about Porsche's World :)
The "s" is now the most probably choice... just 3 days later I went in a 911 carrera 2 (... nothing special u will say ;-) ), and I run 180-190 Km/h, they aren't a lot, but I understood that a sport impostation on a car of this kind is very important, the sprint was very powerful... very exciting :D

Hey st-anger what do you think of the Techart Cayenne Turbo? My girlfriends dad wants to get hers done up by Techart since he already has a Techart GT Street. Or do you recommend a different company?

on the 955 i´d prefer the Gemballa kit, IMO the body kit from TechArt looks shit on the Cayenne, on the 996 it´s the other way round, i prefer the GT Street (S) to the GTR from Gemballa...
Porsche engine tuning, check "Porsche news" for further infos, or just ask...

btw, if it´s feasible, i´d love to see some pics of that GT Street...
