I like the interior, but the exterior enhancements make the car look heavier AND cheap.

I knew they were going to put a de-tuned ZR1 motor in it. Yay me!

I think everything except diesel duallies are going to get detuned ZR1 motors hehe

They have to recoup the costs of the $15,000 brake setups on all the ZR1's somehow ;)

They have to do a lot more than reuse that supercharged motor to make back the money spent on developing the ZR1. All they can do is pray people will buy the luxury 'Vette.

This new CTS-V is going to be disgustingly quick..

i like the front. The back is boring.

I think the designers tried abit to hard to resemble the look of the previous CTS-V. The car's rounded curves doesn't really match well with the square corner bumpers.

The problem is that the GM design team tried to listen to the european critics - this is what happens when cars try to please too many focus groups ;)

I feel the exact opposite.... the rear end makes sense, but the front end is too.... import rice like... too much metal mesh

So it weighs 4200 pounds....... that can't be good.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I guess you can partially solve that by slapping on a huge ass license plate on the bottom mesh.

I like it a lot, the interior has a very nice design IMO and exterior has caracter ! And this engine !! 550 hp is more than a match for europeans ! If roadholding is on a par, it will be a true Cadillac come back :-)

.....which is less.;-)

I dunno. My judgment is up in the air until this thing is properly road tested. Until then, I'm still in favor of the bimmer.

finally a performance saloon with both a manual and automatic transmission...that interior is beautiful, a real step up in quality and design...and i'm sure the outside is a case of 'it looks better in person'

the previous cts-v was good to drive, and i'm sure this one is gonna be even better, what with the magnetic suspension and that beast under the hood

great job from caddillac:thumbup:

I like anything with that engine in it. I think the side skirts are a bit much but the interior is really nice looking, if they don't tone it down that'll lead the american makes.

And BMW have their shit down, period. They're still the benchmark.

I love the M5, but its sad to say this is going to eat the M5's lunch and sh_t it back out before the M5 crosses the finish line.

Good thing BMW has an updated M5 coming. At least thats what rumors say.
