Civilization 4 (and BTS)

Following on from a previous post I made when Civ 3 was the latest thing...

Anyone else absolutely hopelessly addicted to Civilization?

I have been since the advent of the first Civilization game back in the 90s, and the latest version (4) is yet another great leap forward ;)

Before that, Pirates! Gold on my old 486, another Sid Meier game.

Prior to that (C64 many years ago) I would spend days playing Pirates!

I wonder exactly how much of my life has been spent playing Sid Meier games, in particular Civ.:?:

It must be months, if not a year or two out of the 33 total! :crying:

I love the original but havent played since then.. How did they make the new ones worth playing over the original if you dont mind me asking?

I'm still addicted to Civilization I DOS version. I play it within DOSBox on Leopard. ;)
