The Techart doesn't come with "dubs" those are 18" in the front and 19" in the rear. So not quite 20"

And I must say after driving one of those (My girlfriends Dad's) that I aspire to have one some day it is an amazing machine.

I'm not really into tuning cars, especially perfect cars such as porsche 911's, but I'd go with the Gemballa, coz as far as I know it is the produces the most powerful version.

I prefer Ruf to all the other tuners. The others are nice, but they are way to
over done IMO, Their body kits don't even seem to fit the cars to well. I know
looks aren't everything, but when there this bad you can't just ignore them.

Does anyone know where there might be a comparison test
between the different Porsche tuners?

how about Stola GTS? it looks business.
Stola made some custom porsches.

Stola GTS
Twin turbo 6-cyl 480bhp
0-60 in 3.8sec
187mph
and it's based on the Boxter. too bad that only 3 are to be made...

Techart, RUF, Gembella, Sportec and so many motor tuners.

I would say Ruf for the quality of his work but st-anger told me that RS Tuning was a real good one so i will follow his view .

I hear alot about Gemballa, so i'll go with them... but I dont really have much experience or knowledge about Porsche tuners (or porsches in general) so its just from vids ive seen.

Gemballa is very high quality. (RUF is also, just not many in the US)

Ruf Cars look nice, but the fastest street legal car on the Nürburgring is the Gemballa Biturbo GTR600.

I like the RUF-tuned porsches most

I thought that record at the Nürburgring was broken by the Radical SR3?

I would definitly say RUF. Unlike other tuners like Techart which sends their engines for modification, RUF does the mods itself, and their cars are not just showcars, they are everyday use cars designed to be as reliable as a Porsche that comes right out of the factory. moreover Ruf has a long history in modifying porsches and Aloïs Ruf is world reckonned for its job: he doesn t anounce irrealistic performance numbers and allows sports car magazines to verify them...
PS: I don t work for Ruf, it s just a personal advice!

Stola you say!? do you know who does their engines? no? Gemballa does! so that counts as another Gemballa vote :D

no but i agree on the stola when we are talking about styling! but that depends on wich model and so on!

BUT!

I think there is only ONE tuner who really tunes Porsches in the same spirit that Porsche themself build them!
RUF
They dont whant big BHP if they loose the low rev torque , like Gemballa biturbo on a boxster!
they dont just slap a couple of springs on it , they build themm from the ground up!
and they care about every single car that leaves there little factory!

it so beautiful...i am gonna cry.....
i gotta get a Boxster 3600!
